Attendance and participation. In order to qualify to take the final exam, you must have maintained an adequate participation and attendance record and completed all course requirements. Absence hours will affect the In-class participation score. After 9 hours of absence you may not take the Final exam. Students who have not met the minimum performance and/or attendance requirements will not be able to take the final exam and will receive an FZ grade.

Focusing primarily on the most significant plays and playwrights of the 20th century, the course is an exploration of the relationship between actor and audience and between "theatre" and the larger culture in an effort to determine what theatre means and why it is important in the modern world.
