Attending the studio, juries, discussions, and getting critiques at least 80% of the overall studio time. Project development requires to attend critique sessions, and no more than 8 half studio days of absence. In addition to those, accomplishing 30 % of the semester evaluation is required for being qualified for the final jury.

The first stage of the Vertical Design Studio System composed of three different studios: Concept, Context and Form in which the second, third and fourth year students are enrolled. Basics of site design, i.e., understanding and analyzing the project area, characteristics, open space types in cities, landscape elements and design techniques.
