Foundations for visualization tools and technical skills in graphic design.

- Introduction: Laying the foundations for the visualization tools and techniques used in graphic design (lecture).
- Cut & Paste Craftsmanship (project 1): How to be precise? Different kinds of tools (classwork).
- Line & Composition (project 2): Exploring the "line" (classwork + homework).
- Hidden In Shapes (project 3): Looking, seeing, observing, identifying, characterizing and creating (classwork) (submission of project 2 & 3).
- One-point Perspective (project 4): (classwork + homework)
- Two-point Perspective (project 5): (classwork + homework)(submission of project 4).
- Two-point Perspective (project 5): Work in progress (Republic Day Holiday)(No class).
- Vector Graphic Fundamentals (project 6): Introduction to the vector oriented applications in computers, foundations (classwork)(submission of project 5 & 6).
- Vector Illustration & Simplification (project 7): How to create an illustration from a photo and how to simplify it (classwork + homework)?
- Text Art (project 8): How to work with a typefaces, text and illustrations (classwork + homework)? (submission of project 7).

- Die Cutting & Packaging (project 9): Design and create a packaging solution for an object of your choice. Experiment with surface design, different folding techniques and structural elements to achieve the desired communication (classwork + homework). (submission of project 8).
