Topics include bucolic poetry, philosophical expositions in verse, mediaeval theological poetry, Romantic pantheism, Victorian crisis-of-faith and evolutionistic poetry, neo-Stoicism.
Thinking With Poetry. Examines poetry as a vehicle for thoughts and ideas, covering ancient didactic to Victorian crisis-of-faith poetry.
